Announcements :

The next meeting of the Montville Lions Club will take place Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009 at the Golden Palace Restaurant.  Summer picnics will take the place of our regular meetings. 

First summer picnic will take place at Tine/Fotta house on Wednesday, July 22nd.  Start time will be 6:30 pm.  Menu is steak and cost is $10 per person.  Please call Lions Shaun and Kathy to make a reservation (848-2262 or 848-3616).  Don't forget to let them know what you plan to bring.

The second summer picnic will take place at the Ouellette's house on Saturday, August 22nd.  More information will follow. 

Activities :

The Annual Golf Tournament will be July 27th at Richmond Country Club.  Cost is $100 a golfer.  Includes round of golf, cart, lunch and NY strip steak for dinner.  We are looking for Tee sponsors ($100) and Green sponsors ($50).  Volunteers are also needed.  Call Lion Brian Devine (564-6720) for information or reservations or e-mail through this website.

 Don't forget the baseball game at Dodd Stadium on July 31st.  There will be fireworks after the game.  It's Lions' Day at the Stadium!  Tickets are $8 each.  Call Lion Linda (848-2892) for tickets or send an e-mail through this website.  Should be alot of fun - Hope to see you there!!!
