The next meeting of this Lion's Club will take place at Golden Palace Restaurant on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, 6:30 social, meeting to begin at 7:00. The following meeting will be Wednesday, December 10, 2008. Please note that the second meeting in November and the second meeting in December will be cancelled due to the coming holidays. The Leo Club is sponsoring a children's Halloween Party on Thursday, October 30 at Fair Oaks School. Contact Lion Diana Grise (456-1980) for more information or to volunteer. The Leo Club is also sponsoring a dance at Tyl on Friday, November 7, 2008. Adult chaperones will be needed, please contact Lion Diana for information or to volunteer. SE CT Center of the Blind Dinner Dance will take place on Saturday, November 8th, from 6:30 to 11 at the Port 'N Starboard Restaurant in New London. Tickets are $40 per person and will not be available at the door. Please contact Lion Marni for tickets (860-848-9893). Dancing will be to the Sue Menhart Band. There will be raffles and a silent auction. Remember, the Christmas Tree season is quickly approaching!!!!
